You should have graphic proof of credentials you claim, a stable address, verifiable references and samples of your work. Please be ready to convince us that you are good at what our clients want. This may include asking you to translate a sample paragraph or three or have a bilingual telephone conversation at some convenient time. 

If we are convinced you will be an asset to our clients, they will believe us when we recommend you to them.

There is a nominal membership fee and you must pull your share of the load when it comes to advertising.  This is not entry-level, nor do we cater to folks who have recently decided to try their hand at branching out into oil and gas.  We are oil and gas translators organizing a collaborative effort aimed at helping those who help themselves.
