Brazilian Translated

Legal permanent resident in Brazil, where I was raised and later worked, and now live a part of each year.

U.S. citizen, I am thrice-certified as a translator, and Berlitz-certified as a court interpreter, have booth and transmitters/receivers.

After some engineering college I earned a BA in Portuguese at UT, Austin. Simultaneous conference and federal court interpreter since 1990.

My strong areas are energy & environment, oil, gas and mining, some geophysics. Most of my work is into English but I outsource to one or two capable individuals who translate into Portuguese.
